Q1. Why did you choose Shinko Express?
I was interested in driving large trucks, so I spoke to an acquaintance who worked at Shinko Express. He told me that although there was a lot of loading and unloading, it was a rewarding job, so I applied through him.
I've always loved physical activity, so I thought this was a job that would suit me and allow me to utilize my previous experience.

Q2. What was the first job you did after joining the company?
For about 1 month, I rode alongside a senior driver, learning the collection and delivery locations and gaining work experience.
There was a lot to remember, such as how work rules differ depending on the warehouse and how to stack cargo so it doesn't fall over, but my seniors were kind enough to teach me carefully, making it a fun and fulfilling training period.

Q3. What is your current job?
I worked as a truck driver for about 3 years, but due to the retirement of an office worker and the need to replace him, I am now working in the office dispatching vehicles.
My environment has changed dramatically from being a driver to working in an office job, and I no longer have the opportunity to drive, but I am putting my experience as a driver to good use every day, switching from steering wheel to computer mouse.
Since I don't move my body as much anymore, I occasionally help out with work on site to refresh myself.

Q4. What is the most enjoyable thing about your job?
The workload increases dramatically during busy periods, but the moment when the vehicles are dispatched efficiently according to my own plans and all the invoices disappear from my desk, I feel exhilarated.

Q5. How do you spend your holidays?
Since joining my current company, I have been able to take plenty of time off, so I'm happy that I can enjoy my hobbies of golf and driving, and most importantly, I can go on trips that I wasn't able to take before.
